Description
Complaining to the national Agudat Israel in Jerusalem of insufficient Beth Jacob Schools for girls in Tel Aviv. R. Tobias Judah b. Alexander Zevi Tavyomi (1882-1936), noted rabbinical scholar, was born in Rypin, town in Budgoszcz province, N. central Poland. He served in prestigous positions before coming to Erez Israel in 1936. R. Tavyomi is the author of over a dozen works in homiletics, responsa, and novellae.
