Description
   Stories for Jewish children by Herman Hayyim ben Moses Leib Shoav. Halomot Ha-Yaldut is comprised of ten stories, enumerated in the table of contents, which notes the name of the translator into Hebrew for four of them. The tales are the night of the seder; Tishah b’Av; the shofar speaks, the large and small etrog, the Aron of the sifrei Torah, the endangered lulav, Hanukah candes, the fifteenth of Shevat, a guest for Purim, and the old siddur. At the end of the book is a glossary translating Hebrew words into German. The text is in a single column in an easy unvocalized Hebrew.
