Description Information
Only edition. 42, 20 pp., folio, 270:220 mm., light age staining, wide margins. A very good copy not bound.
A two part work on Bible studies in the Talmud Tora Realschule. The title page has a subtitle, Bericht über das Schuljahr (report on the school year). It describes Dr. Nathan as the director of the school. The first part, entitled Die Tonzeichen in der Bibel (Accents and accentuation in the bible) is comprised of ten chapters. The second part, Schulnachrichten (school news) is made up of a series of tables and reports on aspects of the school year. The text is in German with occasional Hebrew.

Die Tonzeichen in der Bibel is accompanied by a handwritten letter from A. Joelson, dated 11 March, 1965, in which he thanks a Dr. Meyer for the very interesting book of Dr. Nathan. He writes that it took him a long time to work through all the details but now he reports that he was also very interested in it and had quite a good time. Apparently others also read it for he thanks Dr. Meyer for, “giving us the opportunity to study this book.”
