Description
   Acknowledging receipt of $4,000 to be distributed to the needy on Purim. R. Shakh assures the donors the all the funds have been disbursed to the needy, the donors have successfully completed the precept of "Charity to the poor on Purim", and hearty blessings to the donors.

R. Eliezer Menahem Man b. Azriel Shakh (1898-2001), rabbinical scholar and sage. R. Shakh was born in Vabalninkas, Russia and was educated in the yeshiva of R. Isser Zalman Meltzer whose daughter he married. His scholarship and reputation are well known to the readership; the thousands that sought his advice and counsel; the thousands he assisted in times of need; above all the numerous students he educated over his illustrious and very fruitful lifetime.
