Joseph Heller writes to R. Samuel Salant in Jerusalem asking him to secure a righteous and "pretty" young wife for his very eligible son, Dr. Jacob Levi Heller (the letter is written on his stationary). The son was a graduate of the famous Pressburg Yeshiva, and studied medicine with noted scholars. He currently serves the Jewish community of Philadelphia with distinction, treating many patients without charge.
