   First edition. 63 pp., port. illus., 161:126 mm., light age staining, each page within frame. A very good copy bound in the original wrappers, autographed by the author.
   Illustrated book of children's stories in Yiddish by Moshe Shifris (1897-1977), who is also the author of numerous other Yiddish titles, including: Rakhama un andere lider (New York, 1925), Zigl (New York, 1929), Milkhome-teg (New York, 1937), Di mame vokh mit di zibn teg (New York, 1941) and others.

The title, "Nisht geshtoooygn: nisht gefloygn" is a popular Yiddish idiom understood to mean "There is no basis to" whatever it is that has been claimed or proposed.
