Detailed
Description
Eulogy for his son by R. Solomon Zalman ben Isaac Kluger Witkowski. The title page has a versified text, expressing his great pain, stating and bitterness over my son, the firstborn. As my first born (cf. Zechariah 12:10) and the pain that he has undergone, on his heart is a wall of wailing and lamentation, he raises his words with a voice of moaning, there is no like pain; his name and his remembrance are carved for a sign to be kept for days and years, the heart of a father for his son. There is an introduction and then the text, all in a single column in rabbinic type. At the end is the text of his gravestone, with a ten line text in which the initial letters spell out David ben R. Solomon.

R. Solomon Zalman ben Isaac Kluger Witkowski (1795-1876) was the author of Zivhei Todah (1868)
