Description
   Commentary to the Scroll of Esther by R. Abraham b. Isaac Zahalon (d. 1595), a scion of a distinguished Sephardic family that was among the exiles of Spain, and a grandson of R. Isaac Caro (Toledot Yizhak), talmudist and kabbalist. He was the author of three works all printed in the same year and press. His other works are Yad Haruzim on the Jewish and Muslim calendars and Marpe la-Nefesh, a kabbalistic ethical work, with emphasis on penitence, based on the teachings of R. Isaac Luria.
