Description
   R. Hirsch Olshwang (b. 1873), Rosh Yeshiva in Telz, Cleveland and rabbi of Congregation Hevrah Mishne Torah for 25 years. He was born in Luknik suburb of Kovna, and studied in Lithuanian yeshivot. Among his teachers were R. Eliezer Gordon in Telz who also ordained him, R. Simeon in Volozhin, R. Joseph Leib in Kelm. In his later years he emigrated to Erez Israel where he passed on.
