Keter Torah by R. Phineas ben Judah of Poltzk. This is an ethical work on Talmud Torah and Jewish education designed to awaken those who slumber from the vanity of their thoughts and direct them in the path of the Torah to meditate init day and night, for “My fruit is better than gold, better than fine gold; and my produce than choice silver” (Proverbs 8:19). There is an introduction by the grandson of the author, R. Hillel Noah ben Shalom Israel, who brought the book to press and then the text.
Paragraph 2    Notes דף [2]: הקדמת נכד המחבר, ר' הלל נח ב"ר שלום ישראל מגיד-שטיינשניידר].
